About Martin Rothery

I build and teach formation systems for changeworkers.

Not motivation. Not personal branding. Not performance spirituality.

The work is organised into Nine Realms—complete domains of training concerned with consciousness, emotion, identity, nervous system patterning, conditioning, and meaning.

These systems are designed to train practitioner perception, restraint, and responsibility—so the work can be applied without projection, improvisation, or borrowed certainty.

Most approaches teach techniques.
This system forms practitioners.

Origin

I grew up inside the foster system and experienced abuse early in life.

Later, I lived with chronic pain, anger, and internal pressure that didn’t respond to the usual routes: understanding, coping, or “improvement.”

I tried methods that promised depth. Many were helpful—until they reached their limit. Most treated symptoms as causes, or relied on insight without structural change.

So I built what I couldn’t find: a system designed to go further, remain teachable, and hold under pressure.

What I built

The work is organised into Nine Realms—complete domains of practitioner formation.

The Realms exist because change happens in domains.

Boundless: The Nine Realms exists because practitioners eventually face a different limitation: coherence across domains.

This is not a library of techniques.
It is a formation path that trains structure: how to see what maintains patterns, how not to reinforce them, and how to apply protocols responsibly.

Standards

I’m not interested in hype. I’m interested in what holds when pressure arrives.

  • Responsibility over explanation
  • Restraint over performance
  • Protocols over improvisation
  • Structure over story
  • Silence over constant stimulation

If that sounds severe, it is meant to be.

Who this is for:

  • People becoming practitioners
  • Practitioners refining foundations
  • Those willing to be trained rather than entertained
  • Those who can tolerate discomfort without turning it into drama
  • Those done with quick fixes and shallow optimism

Who this is NOT for:

    • Those seeking motivation or reassurance
    • Those collecting techniques
    • Those unwilling to question their certainty
    • Those in victim mode or external blame

On healing and promises

Some people come to this work for relief. Some come to learn the system.

Both are valid.

But nothing here is framed as medical or emergency care, and nothing is offered as a guarantee. The point is not to promise outcomes. The point is to train the conditions under which real change becomes possible.

Where to Begin

If you want a clear entry point:

  • Start with the Realms map and choose based on constraint, not interest
  • If you already feel the limits of single-domain work, read Boundless: The Nine Realms
  • If you want to understand certification, read Certification & Authority

I’m not here to build followers.
I’m here to build practitioners who can hold the work without distortion.
