Member discount
A standing discount code for books bought directly from martinrothery.com through SureCart.
Free Book Club
A club for readers, not another subscription.
Join free for letters about new books, previews, behind-the-book material, member discounts and, as the club grows, occasional live readings and other reader-only extras.
The Book Club
Read the books, get the author letters and a discount on direct purchases. It is free, and the emails are optional.
Sign in to Living
Member perks
A little more of the books.
Letters from the desk
New releases, things I am working on, and ideas that have refused to leave me alone.
Previews and extras
Longer previews, advance chapters and occasional behind-the-book material where it makes sense.
Live readings
As the club grows, I want to add occasional live readings, member Q&As and other simple gatherings around the books.
Looking ahead
More ways into the work.
I want the Book Club to stay simple and worth having. That means fewer empty promises and more material that genuinely belongs here.
Over time that may include occasional live readings, member Q&As, advance looks at works in progress and the odd piece of behind-the-book commentary when a book has earned it.
For now, it begins with the essentials: news, previews, extras and a standing reader discount on books bought direct.
